👑GUESS THE NUMBER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Introduction / Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how FFDP, an independent game developer based in Nepal, handles information in connection with the game Guess The Number Multiplayer (the "app" or the "game"). The app is available on Android (package name com.guessthenumber.multiplayer) and can also be played in a web browser at https://ffdp.com.np/app/.

Guess The Number Multiplayer is a real-time multiplayer dueling game. Each player secretly sets a number, players take turns, and they race to guess the opponent's number. The game includes trophies (an ELO rating), XP and levels, daily challenges, global, daily, and weekly leaderboards, and a friends system with challenges.

This document is our Privacy Policy. It describes what information we collect, how we use it, the parties with whom it is shared, how we keep it secure, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available at its stable public URL, https://ffdp.com.np/privacy.html, which is also linked from inside the app and from our Google Play store listing.

If you have any questions, you can reach us at [email protected] or visit https://ffdp.com.np.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the game. We do not require an email address, password, phone number, or real name to play. The information we collect is described below.

Random device identifier and guest account

When you first launch the app, it generates a random device identifier and stores it locally on your device. The app sends this identifier to our server to create an anonymous game account so you can start playing right away. For a guest account, we do not require or collect any email address, password, phone number, or real name.

Optional Google Play Games display name and player ID

If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your Android device, the app may automatically use your Google Play Games display name as your in-game username. This uses Google Play Games Services, a Google service. Through this service we receive only your Play Games display name and a Play Games player identifier. We do not receive your Google account password, and we do not request your email address through this sign-in.

Profile and username

We store the following in-game profile information on our server: your username/display name, your trophies (ELO rating), your XP, and your level. Usernames are unique across the game.

Gameplay and leaderboard data

We store gameplay data on our server, including match results, the guesses made during matches, win/loss outcomes, and trophy changes. This data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on our own server infrastructure. Your display name and trophy count are shown publicly to other players on the global, daily, and weekly leaderboards (see "How Information Is Shared" below).

Friends

You can search for other players by username and send or accept friend requests and direct challenges. The friends and challenges you create are stored to provide this feature.

Technical and log data (including IP address)

Standard connection information, such as your IP address and timestamps, may be processed by our server and by our network and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Local device storage

Some information is stored locally on your device using standard app storage, including your app settings (sound on/off and vibration), the random device identifier, and authentication tokens.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to provide and improve the game. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Create and maintain your anonymous game account and let you start playing without registration.
  • Set up your in-game username, including optionally using your Google Play Games display name.
  • Run multiplayer matches in real time, take turns, and determine win/loss outcomes.
  • Calculate and store your trophies (ELO rating), XP, and level, and track trophy changes.
  • Operate daily challenges and the global, daily, and weekly leaderboards.
  • Provide the friends system, including searching for players by username and sending or accepting friend requests and direct challenges.
  • Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service using technical and log data such as IP address and timestamps.
  • Remember your app settings (sound and vibration) and keep you signed in using locally stored authentication tokens.

We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

For players in regions where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases to process your information:

  • Performance of a contract: to create your game account and provide the core gameplay, matchmaking, profiles, leaderboards, and friends features you ask us to provide.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, including processing technical and log data such as IP address and timestamps to keep the game running and protect it from abuse.
  • Consent: where you choose to sign in with Google Play Games so that we may use your Play Games display name as your username. You can decline this option.

How Information Is Shared

We share information only as described below.

Public leaderboards

Your display name and trophy count are visible to other players on the global, daily, and weekly leaderboards.

Google Play Games Services

If you use the optional Google Play Games sign-in, that interaction involves Google Play Games Services, a Google service. Google's handling of your information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare (network and hosting)

We use Cloudflare as our network, CDN, and tunnel provider to connect the app to our server. As part of operating and securing the service, Cloudflare may process technical and log data such as IP address and timestamps.

What we do not do

  • We do not show third-party advertising and we use no ad SDKs.
  • We use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and associated data while your account is active and as needed to operate the leaderboards and the service.

Technical and log data (such as IP address and timestamps) is retained only as long as needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service and is then deleted or aggregated.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at [email protected]. On a verified deletion request, we remove your game account and its associated gameplay, profile, and leaderboard data.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and WSS, and server secrets are kept server-side. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Guess The Number Multiplayer is a general-audience casual game. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game, as described in our Terms & Conditions. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can delete that information and the associated account.

International Users and Data Transfers

We are based in Nepal, and our servers and service providers (including Cloudflare) may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. We take steps to handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on the following third-party services:

  • Google Play Games Services (Google) — used only for optional sign-in and to provide your in-game display name. This service is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Google Play — used for distribution of the Android app.
  • Cloudflare — used as our network, CDN, and tunnel to connect the app to our server.

For clarity, the app does not use Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob or any ad network, the Facebook SDK, or any other analytics or advertising SDK.

Your Rights and Choices

You have choices and rights regarding your information:

  • Access, correction, and deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected]. On a verified request, we delete the game account and its associated data. This is the same account-deletion channel referenced in our Google Play Data safety section, so you can request deletion at any time by emailing us at that address.
  • Google Play Games sign-in: using the optional Google Play Games sign-in is your choice; you can play as a guest without it.
  • Local settings: you can control sound and vibration through the in-app settings, which are stored locally on your device.
  • Device permissions: the app does not access your microphone, camera, precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, or files. Sounds and vibration are local to your device.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and post the revised version at its public URL, https://ffdp.com.np/privacy.html. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
